The first-stage washable sediment cartridge captures sand, dirt, rust, algae, and organic matter, while the second-stage carbon block cartridge reduces chlorine, taste, and odour. Both cartridges are suitable for chlorinated and non-chlorinated water supplies, making the system ideal for both town water and rainwater applications.

The washable sediment cartridge can typically be cleaned and reused up to 3–4 times before replacement, helping to reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
