This low maintenance D.I.Y system will reduce sediment, chlorine and taste and odour from town water and tank water supplies, protecting appliances and tap outlets from dirt and sediment. First stage washable sediment cartridge captures sediment and organic matter. Second stage carbon impregnated cartridge reduces chlorine, taste and odour. The cartridges are resistant to bacterial attack so can be used on non-chlorinated water. Washable sediment cartridge can be washed up to 3-4 times before change-over resulting in low ongoing costs to maintain.
